Here is the HJT. You mentioned about two AntiVirus programs on my machine. I have had SpyDoctor (paid version) on here for quite some time along with another AntiVirus program. I did not realize I should not have two running. Would it be advisable to keep SpyDoctor and uninstall Avira?

See my other post: Major Problem Please Help under the Windows XP threads
OK, I was able to get my machine booted up again. I ran the repair from the Windows CD. It ran for awile but seemed to have gotten stuck after doing the repair. I took the CD out and restarted and it came up to the desktop. I am not going to shut it down for fear it will not start again. What can I do to check this issue out?

See, it's not a good idea to do other things, especially security scans, when we're in the middle of cleaning process. Please, avoid it in the future.
Now, create new restore point, just in case.
If you have paid version of Spyware Doctor, and if it does include antivirus, uninstall Avira.
Your HJT log appears to be clean, but before we perform some final steps, uninstall Avira, and post fresh HJT log.

I have uninstalled Avira and below is the HJT file I ran afterwards.
Question, I have Superantispyware and also Malwarebytes Anti Malware, they do not run in the background. I use these weekly or so. Is that what I should be doing?
Let me know what to do after you have looked at the HJT file.

Very good.
Now, if you created new restore point, try to restart computer couple of times, and see, if no problem with that.
If everything OK...
Uninstall Combofix:
Go Start > Run
Type in:
combofix /u
Note the space between the "combofix" and the "/u"
Restart computer.
See, if you can run Super, and Bytes. If you can, run both scans, post both logs.

Since all of this has happened I discovered another issue that I don't know if you can advise or not.
I have WMP 11 and it has all of a sudden stopped working. When I open a music file MP3 WMP 11 opens and it says it is missing a Codec file and can go to web help and when I get there it says there is nothing to download. I re-installed WMP 11 and still get the same result. I have also discovered that my Windows sounds are not playing. I went to the sounds in Control Panel and when I highlight a windows sound the small arrow is not highlighted to test the sound. I checked my speakers and they do work. So far only in ITUNES and Skype
I do have ITUNES and that works fine. Any idea what is wrong?

3. Restart computer.
4. Turn System Restore on.
5. Make sure, Windows Updates are current.
6. If any Trojan was listed among your infection(s), make sure, you change all of your on-line important passwords (bank account(s), secured web sites, etc.) immediately!
7. Download, and install WOT (Web OF Trust): http://www.mywot.com/. It'll warn you (in most cases) about dangerous web sites.
