[RESOLVED] Computer locked and Switch User after closing laptop screen
I have a Sony laptop with Vista Home Premium 64bit and all the latest updates applied. I have noticed that recently once I close my laptop screen and re-open it, there is now always a screen that gives me 3 options: Activate computer with fingerprint and "Computer locked" and "Switch User".
I only have one account on the computer (the administrator) and no other accounts and all guest accounts are deactivated. I am not using the fingerprint scanner to logon. It is stupid b/c I just click "Computer locked" and it still brings me to windows since I don't want to use a password. I am the only one using the computer so how do I get this to stop showing me this screen after re-opening the laptop? I just want to re-open the laptop and for it to open directly where I left off inside windows. I do not want to use the fingerprint scanner or password protection.
Thanks

Control Panel->Power icon->this is where you tell the lappy what to do when you close the lid. You can tell it to do nothing or hibernate ect.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

In Control Panel>Power Options>Change plan Settings>Change Advanced Settings, under "Additional settings" you'll find "Require a password on wakeup". Set it to "No" for both battery and plugged in.
