    Question Problem with character display

    Had to reinstall Windows XP, but the only one I have is Coorporate Russian Version.
    The problem is that I set everything to English in "Language in Regional Settings", but certain things my PC displays as "???? ?? ????".
    I tried to install a program, while it was on the Desktop, but it wouldnt.
    Only after I moved it to C:\, and the root path is in english unicode, so it was fine.

    How to fix this?

    The Corporate Russian version won't have the correct fonts installed, you'll need to find the English XP disc.

    I got one.

    The weird thing is that I got this English Windows XP CD, and it used to boot perfectly. But now when I try to boot it again it says "Couldn't find NTLDR".

    What could be wrong?
