Too many problems for avast to deal with
I am working on a teen's computer, who had lots of bad habits (the teen, not the computer).
Did an online-virus scan and the total count was in the thousands. Downloaded avast and started a detailed scan. The problem is that Avast stops after each trojan is found and asks for an action on my part, i.e., to send to chest. I do not want to have to do this several thousand times. Is there a way to get a one-time display that I can delete all at once?

Try malwarebytes scanner first...
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
It will scan all the way through without stopping each time. I don't believe there's a way to get Avast to do that.
