DHCP Question
Hello,
I will be installing VOIP phones in my office shortly. I want the phones to be on a separate subnet from the rest of the network devices, but they will be using the same workgroup switches.
Is there a way to have the phones obtain their IP Addresses from one subnet while the PCs obtain their IP Addresses from another?
Thanks.

Will these phones be assigned to certain people? If so, you may want to assigne them fixed IP addresses if needed. You wouldn't want extensions randomly changing owners.

The phone system assigns extensions by MAC Address. Dynamic IP's are fine.
So. Any ideas? Vendor Specific Information (Option 43) maybe?
