Hard Drive Recovery companys
Sometime in or around the 10th of March till the 4 th April in some forum here on VirtualDr. Someone left a link to a hard drive recovery company. The company was in California and did a diag for $129.00 if I remember right.
Anyhow as was working off the pc that was in trouble at the time I bookmarked site but since have lost my bookmark. I had called them and was going to send drive to them but was real busy at time,so put it off till now and can't find Link or Tele#er. If someone has it would thank you to repost it here.

Most data recovery companies will take the drive on a "no recovery, no fee" basis. From your post you seem to be suggesting that they want that money just to have a look at it.

I don't remember that they wanted money to look at drive. Was a detailed $129.00 and up depending on what all had to be done to retrieve data. Some member in here left the link in a post sometime between 10 th March till 5 th Apr Although I don't know in which forum or thread. When you went to site it gave details to call in Which I may find in my telephone records. If I recall right he was working as a independent after working for one of the larger services ,which is what keeps coming up when doing the goggle searches is Company's like Ontrack

I searched and couldn't find it either, I'm glad you got there in the end
That doesn't look like a bad deal at all, let us know how you get on with them, we can recommend them to other members if they do a good job.
Nick.
