From my experience free web hosting is never good for running a personal or business sites. You get no support or service with a free host. Spend some money and get a actual host account with a control panel and support. If you are looking for a good company I can recommend Server Intellect. They offer quite a few different hosting packages with some phenomenal support staff. Always remember what your dad said "you get what you pay for" and "free never is".

in general, the words good and free don't go together. If you're looking for quality web host, forget about free. The best you're going to find is one provided by your ISP, but of course that doesn't allow you to have your own domain name. There's plenty of cheap hosting out there, as low as four dollars a month, some of them.
There is nothing to fear, but life itself.
