[XP]Good fax software?
Hi.
Is there a good software that will allow me to send and receive faxes, without using an actual fax machine?
I used to have program like that but it was long time ago, 10 years or so.
I could receive faxes in .pdf format, or print them out through my printer, and send my own electronically.
Thx.

Depending on the type of Operating System you are using you may already have a fax program. XP has one on the disk which is good if you do not do a lot of faxing. If you are running Linux there a many free fax programs you can use.
Many years ago when I was Win 98 I bought a fax program from SmithMicro called Hot Fax. Sadly they do not seem to make this any more as it has run great when I updated to Win 2K and then to XP.
Good Luck.
