SAS Safe Mode

When checking a computer for malware I usually run Superantispyware (SAS), then turn off system restore (if malware is found) and then reboot. I have a lot of faith in the advice of Broni, Crunchie and several others on Virtual Doctor and am certainly not questioning the wisdom of running SAS in Safe Mode. But why would running it in Safe Mode be better? Just curious...

This is by design. Some antimalware tools are supposed to be run in Safe Mode.
One of the reasons is that some malware processes won't load in Safe Mode, and some infected files are easier to remove in Safe Mode.
Malwarebytes, for instance, uses little bit different approach.
You run it in Normal Mode, and, if MBAM can't remove something, it does it on reboot.
