[RESOLVED] HELP PCI Simple Communications Controller
I'm at my wits end ... I just reformatted a comp for a friend of mine and there is an exclamation mark on PCI SIMPLE COMMUNICATIONS CONTROLLER in the device manager .... this computer has no modem just onboard ethernet controller .... the motherboard is listed below
Intel DP965LT motherboard
I went to the intel website and downloaded the ethernet and sound drivers since they are onboard and I also downloaded some .inf file, which solved the SM Bus Controller issue, but its not solving the PCI Simple Communications controller ... the video is NOT onboard, its an ATI Radeon x1600 and I have the proper drivers for that .... I'm at a loss for what this PCI Communications thing is and I have done everything except dance around this damn computer naked ... can someone please help me out ... thank you so much !
FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT ...... it was a thermal management driver that needed to be downloaded .... PROBLEM RESOLVED ...
