[RESOLVED] Vista to Mac look
Well I've been keeping my computer real clean and optimized so it can be very fast, I've done a lot from going to the old 90s look to disabling stuff running, etc etc etc, I've also found AIM slows the PC down, anyways , but now I felt like trying something,
I really love the mac theme apple users have, and I see I can download the leapord theme, then get vista glass and I should have it?
But I'm wondering how this will effect my computer performance wise? or even if there's a risk to do it at all?

Couldn't you take it for a test drive and if you don't like it - unistall it? Even if you posted a link to the theme so we'd know what you're talking about - probably no one else has loaded it.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Vista glass link - http://www.download.com/VistaGlazz/3...-10671200.html
and the other link
the leapord skin thingy http://patrickgs.deviantart.com/art/...X-09-100240105
I downloaded everything but did not apply it,
it said something about unpatching my files, what does that do?
also when I downloaded the theme I got an error message it said something about .net frame work, and a long error, it said quit or continue.
Update: It is actually working fine at the moment and I does have the look, but the only thing is I don't have the dock, and I'm sure I installed it? Might have to re-install?

Ahem, I got it all working, but I didn't to get the dock, then after messing things up, I find out how, it was the shortcut file that said dock, duh, now my computer is messed up though, it's really slow and frezzes, how do I uninstall this??? there's an uninstall.ini file in the folder I installed it in, there it no option to uninstall it in control panel, If I double click the installer it asks if I want to install but then it says it stopped working, it's not a virus because it worked for other people, I'm sure i messed something up, if I figure it out I'll edit this and say so,
Help pleaseeeeeee

Well I found a way around that
run > cmd > sfc/scannow
seem to fix everything, said there was still some errors, probably because I still had the folder, but everything is running normal, deleted the folder.
So I'm fine for now, hopefully no programs got messed up,
I'll just get a Mac in a couple years, window's is horrible, dad got a new laptop and it was just LOADED with stuff he didn't even NEED.
anyways problem resolved. sorry for bothering.
