Windows Update
I have windows update set to notify me before downloading ... today there is an update for my graphics driver marked as IMPORTANT ... I've always been a firm believer in " if it ain't broke don't fix it " and as far as I can tell its not broke, even though windows update thinks it is ... since this update is marked as IMPORTANT should it be done ... the video driver in question is for
NVIDIA GeForce 7150M / nForce 630M .... can someone please advise as to whether or not this update should be done ...
thank you for your help

Use the same thought you always have. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Microsoft drivers are usually older than what you want anyway. Leave it be.

Yes, you should mark it hidden.
And you're welcome!

IMHO...always, always, always, always go with the manufacturer's latest drivers. I get those Micropoop messages about updating my Nvidia drivers from time to time. Just go to Nvidia's site and update from there.
