    Movies from PC to TV

    How can i play my movies from my PC to my TV in the living room with Vista Media Center ?
    What do i need ?
    Lenovo Ideapad
    S210
    Pentium CPU 2127U
    1.90 GHz
    4.0 GB. Memory
    64 bit system
    Windows 10

    Some people use S-Video cables. Does your computer's graphic card have a S-video port?

    I just bought DVD player with USB port.
    I put a movie from my computer onto USB memory stick (16MB, so I can put over 20 movies on it), plug the stick into DVD drive, and I'm good to go for next 20 nights.

    You'll need other hardware. But it has also to do with the connections on the back of your tv or tv/VCR/DVD and without knowing what these connections are, we can't tell you which hardware you'll need.

    See that's why I asked what ports were on the tv. Some people still only have the old type tv, where there is only a coaxil hook up.

    Now that we have that clarified, your desktop also has a PCI-e Graphics slot. You can either buy a tv tuner card to fit your only regular PCI slot, or (and this is the better deal) a new PCI-Express 16x video card. You'd benefit more from the latter as it would also increase your other video, as well as it would have the S-Video port you need to achieve your goal.
