[RESOLVED] Change Ask as default IE 6.0 Address search

i have got the same problem with ask.com as the search engine and want to remove it.

please guide me how to unregister it as soon as possible.

Start at step 1. in Post# 10 above.

i have even located C:\Program Files\AskSearch\bin
now kindly guide me what to do next. i don't know how to open a command prompt or cd C:\Program Files\AskSearch\bin

Assuming you're running XP, click Start | Run, type in cmd and press [Enter].

At the CMD prompt, type:

cd "c:\program files\asksearch\bin"

and press [Enter].
