    Resolved [RESOLVED] How to: Sharing Pics on Web

    Hi All,

    I have been sharing pictures via our homepage - mostly select few pics for friends and family. It's a lot of work, so I don't update too often and post only a few pics.

    I am looking for an easy (and free?) way to post a number of pictures (in bulk) on the web. Something where I can upload folder content as is and share a link, w/o the need for potential watchers to login with an account etc.
    Does that make sense? What service would you use/recommend?

    Thanks

    I usually whip up a quick webpage with the phots, then ftp the whole lot up to my site and just send the link to those I whish to have it.

    Upload time is not all that long. Just minutes. And I can delet things, download them also. Even edit with the ftp program.

    Or, you can use a photo hosting site to create albums. Webshots is just one of many on the web:

    Thanks Guys,

    I checked out both and WEBSHOTS gets my vote (for now):
    * easy to use
    * all basic features I want (upload, slideshow and email to contacts)
    * nothing to install

    I didn't pic Picasa because I have no need for another pics-modification app or want to install that 10MB download.

    Cheers
