    Resolved [RESOLVED] Elusive cookies

I need a little jumpstart here..my cookies are having problems working. My problem is that when I login to, say this site, I am there but not really. When I login I get in but if I try to post a message I get a message that I am not logged in with a new login screen. If I Check the home page here I am listed as logged in. Same thing on my webmail site, I get logged in but to make any other moves to another link I get another login screen with a need cookies error. I have tried all of the normal fixes like reset cookies settings and clear all cookies and caches and temp internet files, all settings back to default. Now the goofy thing is that everything works in safe mode with networking. I followed all of the tries on post (cookies#post1261949). My date and time are all ok too. I must have made a change somewhere else and did not realize it and don't remember. I must be missing something?

If it is working in Safe Mode with Networking, Then something that is loading in normal mode is interfering with your cookies. Posting a HijackThis log might be helpful.

Your Internet Security / Firewall software may be interfering with the cookies. You could try reconfiguring or disabling it to see what happens.

Thanks for the update. If you disabled the firewall, you may want to look into configuring it to allow cookies for the sites where you need them instead of leaving it disabled.
