[Drs Orders]

DTV , Dennon AVR Receiver , Sonis Fabor grand piano speakers .
Every now and then when i shut down a few minutes later there is a humming noise in the speakers .
If i turn on the receiver and shut it off again it goes away . Even happens sometimes when watching a movie .
Any clues of what the problem is ?

Could be a number of things. First that I'd suspect would be leaking/defective output transistors in the amplifier, second would be a power supply issue in the amp as well. Wouldn't be a speaker problem.

Is the reciever under warrantee? I'd call the shop you bought it from or a local Denon dealer and see what they say... sometimes these problems pop up with the same components and may be a known issue and a fast repair.

Thanks Fink .I was thinking on the lines of the Receiver . The warranty is expired .
