Resolved [RESOLVED] Could be a Windows XP Issue - Outlook 2007

After posting this question in the Software section I thought this could be a Windows XP issue.
I am having trouble with auto fill when creating a new email. If I type in someones email address in the TO section it will work again if I have not closed Outlook 2007. When I open Outlook again the email addresses I have typed previously do not come up and they should. I do have it set up properly. I have suggest names on the TO CC and BC under Tools Options.

Hopefully someone that has read this post can help me. I think it has something to do with the .nk2 file that does not appear to be in my system.

I have searched all over the internet and everything points to renaming the NK2 file. This file does not exist on my machine. I tried putting all of my contacts into the "TO" section and saved as a draft. If I create a new email I can type the first letter of a name and I get choices. Once I close Outlook 2007 and re-open it I no longer have the auto complete. This is a real stumper. Can anyone Help!!!!
    Thanks again.

Did you disable the three options to HIDE System file?

I have it set to show hidden files. Is that what you are referring to? If not please explain.

I saw the three options you mentioned. One of them though gives a warning message. Can I un-check that one also? I did another search for NK2 and still nothing.

    Yes you can uncheck it...

    C:\Docs n Settings\Your User Name\Application Data\Outlook\Outlook.NK2
is where the file "should be" located. (it is for outlook 2003)

I have looked in the file location you provided previously and again when you provided it. Still no luck.
