    The folder that contains the files instructed to copy.. Yes there are three. The ones posted earlier. The disc itself has 29 folders.

    There are 3 folders, as listed earlier. Listed with the size..The entire (cd) disc has 29 folders containing many different apps.

    Put the Win98_me_2000_xp_nt4.0 317kb file on the floppy.

    That should be all you need.

    Post the make and model of the card. I am going to do some hunting.

    I believe thats all I need also....... Card is: Rosewill RC-201 SATA-150 2-port PCI Adapter with Raid

    I found a driver folder in which contained numerous driver selections..... I did select the correct one and the reformat and install went ok.......... :-)

    Is it possible that the system will not recognize video drivers (NVidia) until all windows updates are installed....? I cannot connect to the internet presently since the pc is not mine...

    There are video drivers in XP.

    Where did you get the Nvidia drivers?

    Post the video card information. Or if it is onboard video, the video drivers are in the mobo drivers cd.

    Problems with this reformat have been resolved..... the only thing remaining is when on the internet and opening websites the font is very large... lowered the text size to the smallest setting but still the font is anormous......
