IMO, the firewall and Defense+ (host intrusion protection) are very good. The antivirus is still a bit of a work in progress (which they admit to.)

Ditto. I use the firewall and have no problems with it. I do suggest reading the help files carefully though since there are a number of modules that should be understood in detail before they are used/modified eg- Defense+.

The program is O.K., but don't ever try to uninstall it, that is extremely complicated, you better be a computer expert! I lost Internet connection, my hard drive stopped working, scan disk fixed it. If you check Comodo's forum, I am not the only one major uninstall problems.
Instead of reinstalling it, I ended up using PC Tools firewall, which in my opinion, works just as well, without any problems.

Did you have problems with just the firewall or the entire suite w/antivirus?

Had the problem with the complete program uninstall, the entire suite w/anti virus.

Just wondering because I've only ever uninstalled the firewall by itself, a few different versions and never had any issues.

I've been using Comodo firewall on Vista for a long time, the whole suite on XP. No problem.

Broni,
There is no uninstall problems in XP, only in Vista. My laptop with XP, has the complete Comodo program, uninstalled and reinstalled it several times without any problems.
