    Recent backup

    Recently I did a backup of my program files to an external drive. After this I opened the programs and I discovered they (folders) are not there. So at this point I do not know where they were saved to..... I know I selected the right drive........ Thanks

    Also, what is the name and version of the program you used to do the backup?

    Used the windows backup utility........ which I went thru the install wizard. Then I saved it to drive K: I watched it work the process which took about 10 minutes....... it completed.. now it doesn't show on the drive

    I show the backup in Local disk K:.... Is there a way to open and view? When I double - click backup it opens the back up utility..

    Right click on drive K and choose Explore.

    What is puzzling is when checking programs I backed up, some programs are not showing as in the primary drive.......

    They were moved then and that explains why they will not work. Time to move them back, or better yet, reinstall tehm.
