CANNOT INSTALL A.O.L.
I have a laptop with Vista and SP1. When I try to install AOL from a cd the
install goes so far and just stops. Whats with this Vista and how can I install
AOL.

What version is on that CD? It might be one that's not compatible with Vista.

You could try downloading the latest version from AOL's web site.

When I was installing my sisters internet connection from a cd, it ran full screen and seemed to stop/stall part way though.
What stupidly took me ages to figure out was, hidden behind the nice full screen, flash animated install display was a simple windows vista dialog, asking did i want to continue/allow the program to access the net !!
So you may want to minimize the install window, check there is no dialog box waiting for an answer.

FWIW, AOL security edition would not load on my vista home premium computer. I'm using AOL 9.1.
