    Spywareblaster update

Every time there is an update to Spywareblaster I keep meaning to post this query, and every time I forget.

I find it tedious that, after installing the update, I usually have to enable protection separately for every user of each PC. The default after installation is that protection against some or all of the new items is not enabled. Very occasionally there is an update where full protection is enabled immediately on installation, or enabling full protection for the admin account (always the first one I deal with) appears to enable full protection for all users.

Anyone else have this issue? Is there a solution to it? It's not a major concern, just a bit tiresome having to log off and log on four times for each of 4 PCs to enable full protection.

Have the same problem as listed by the orginal poster and I'm aware of others who have noted same. A bit aggravating but I do not know of any solution other than logging on under each user account. It occurs on different operating systems so I would guess it's just an anomaly in the Spywareblaster program.

$5 says that's done by design, to encourage the user to consider upgrading to the paid version with automatic updates. It's been that way at least for the past three years that I've been using it.
