[RESOLVED] NTLDR is missing
Dell Inspiron E1505
Windows XP sp2, Media edition
I do not have MediaDirect installed. My grandson pushed the MediaDirect button and
NTLDR is missing
Press any key to restart
comes up. Pressing any key brings up the same thing. I can't start in Safe Mode - no matter what I do I get the same thing.
Any suggestions to get the machine back to normal?

I hope I'm not too late with this, but it took a long time to find the fix.
Start your laptop and as soon as you push the power button begin tapping the F2 key. This will get you to your usual Windows.
I'm not sure if this is necessary, but to play it safe, go to System Restore and restore to a time before the problem.
Now you have your Windows as before.
