Help cancel installation
Is there a way to cancel an installation of a program before shut down. I accidentally installed Fortress on my computer and before it completed, I hit cancel and escape but it still asked me to setup a password which I didn't, and then it said it would try to configure anyway after bootup. I want to cancel all installed items of Fortress before I shut down. I know Fortress is a real mother to get rid of once it gets installed. I deleted all temp files, but I'm sure there are other things I have to do. Please help!!!

Best bet, reboot to the c:\ and run scanreg /restore and pick a backup from before you started the install.
Todays should be just fine.
C:scanreg /restore and hit enter
should fix you up just fine as far as the registry is concerned.

Downloading M$ word is illegal and we can not help. But if it should be word viewer, follow the link.
