Hard drive smart restore
Hello all, i am having loads of problems with blue screens, i cannot get windows media centre to work, after trying all else. The last time i did a smart restore, all was ok. But, i have loads of programs i need.
I have Ghost 9, i have a D:drive with info on, and i am sure if i was to smart restore, then the D rive would like C rive be restored as new.
I have a 40GB Portable hard drive. My C:drive is 27.5GB and D:32GB both cannot be ghosted together.
Questions:What is the best route to go??
I need to keep files in Outlook express, i can only keep them to a folder within Outlook express, need to save these, i could forward them to an email address and copy them back.
I also would like to keep my favs in I.E. and all my programs inc those in D: and My docs etc.
I have XP windows media centre 2005. 2x 200 GB Hard drives + a 40GB portable hard drive.
Whats the best way to proceed?
Thanks, GEP
