Well It is getting close to winter and I am a big gamer IE doom , halflife ect.

Need suggestions for motherboard ,CPu (AMD) video cards ect... Want to play games like BIo Shock and want it to run well playing the games...Take any suggestions out there. Just over the next month or so gonna start buying the parts a bit at a time so it doesnt hurt the wallet as bad..Starting with the Motherboard...Looking foward to suggestions ,,,Thanks:

I'd wait until the 17th. Intel is launching the first quad-core processor based on Nehalem, the Core i7:

Guess that was a slow poke and waiting might be the answer.

At least you will find out the latest hardware used.

Gigabyte for motherboard, with Asus as second choice.

Any of these for the PSU: Tagan, OCZ, Thermaltake, Enermax, Hiper, Xion, PC Power & Cooling.

I'd go for Intel as the current choice of CPU, as I think it currently still offers the best bang for the buck.

For RAM: Corsair, OCZ, Crucial or Kingston.
    Nick.
