lost in space
Hi all. No time really for a detailed intro. First contact withj compuers was early '70s. Programmed with punchcards. Languages were Basic II (just), Fortran (no suffix) abnd Cobal (no suffix). Next contact was with a Mac desktop. Got my first computer, a Gateway P4, Windows XP OS, used on ebay. Just recently fragged the registry trying to get it going again.
I'm self-taught, but there are huge gaps in my knowledge that I'm trying to rectify. I also have a nine-fingered typing disability. My memory doesn't function that well, so I'm coming to these forums for help. Tha's it for now.

Welcome to everyone.
We usually let Crimson Blonde do the greetings 'cause the rest of us are ugly but we're all glad you're here.

Thanks for the greets. "Virtually taken" is an interesting sobriquet, since there's an infinity between virtually and actually....
