Question I removed Ubuntu but when booting up it still asks me which OS I want...?

    Hello!
I had Windows XP and Ubuntu(decided to try out and what its like).
Then I tried to remove Ubuntu and since it was installed on a partition of a harddrive where nothing else except for it(Ubuntu) I had, so i simply formatted the thing.
Now when I start my PC during the boot process I get a question where it asks which ever you want to load Windows XP or Ubuntu.

How do i remove this problem since i dont have the Ubuntu anymore on my computer?

That will be because GRUB is still your bootloader.

You'll need to boot with a Windows emergency boot disk and run: fdisk /mbr ...or boot with your Windows XP installation CD and from the recovery console type: fixmbr

Failing that, ask the bods at http://ubuntuforums.org
