    Resolved [RESOLVED] exchange/outlook permissions

    Hey guys

I have been toiling with exchange server 2003 and have been stuck on a problem for like 3 days now. Google seems unable to comprehend the magnitude of my distress so i hope that someone here can.

Basically i have used exchange system manager to create subfolders in the default public folder tree, mail enabled them and sent an email to them. this works ok. the problem is setting permissions using outlook. Apparently this is entirely possible but when i go to the properties of a folder i dont have a permissions tab. In exchange system manager i have allowed full access to a user in all 3 permission sets (client, directory and admin) and have also tried with the admin account. Also when i click on the top level folder i get the following error:

    http://tomyn.com/screen.JPG

I dont know if that has anything to do with it.

Anyway please please please someone save me. im very desperate. We can remote access if necessary.

    Thank you
