Web Page closes
I need some help please. The past few days when we have been on various web pages, the page will close and take us back to the desktop. It is almost like we have clicked the X to close out of the page. Our mouse is really jerky and the cursor goes wild at times. We also get a lot of "program not responding" error messages. The program is running extremely slow.
I have scanned with our Antivir, scanned with the malware program and it shows nothing. Adaware found 4 data miners/tracking, but I deleted those. We have tried system restore to an earlier point, but it still does it. Also, we have disabled a lot of the programs that run in the background at startup.
Any ideas? Thanks.
We run Win XP Pro, DSL, IE-7, have an AV and the firewall activated.

One thing that I've seen cause similar behaviour in the past is a corrupt java install. Try uninstalling Java and then reinstalling it. Maybe worth the 30 seconds to reinstall Flash over top of itself as well.

Also...
1. Close IE.
Go Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools, and click on Internet Explorer (no add-ons). Same thing?
2. Is Firefox OK?

Uninstalled Java and clicked on the IE (no add ons) and that actually made it worse. We finally did a system restore all the way back as far as we could and so far that seems to have fixed whatever the glitch was so far. I would have preferred to have found out what the problem was and restore was probably a temporary fix. We did not try Mozilla. If it does it again, I will be back!
Thanks guys.
