Stratitec is still in business but now sell their refill kits only through Sam's Club.

Hi, haven't been around here in years. Anyway, here's the link to Stratitec, maybe they carry your printer instructions.

As great Grampa Alfons always used to say " if you don't know where to start, go back to the beginning". Esconaba in da moonlite.

Hi! I kinda have a huge problem. I can't uninstall my printer from my system. I tried to uninstall it from control panel, from program files, and form its own cd, but it gives me an error, and it stops the process. What can I do, other than format my computer???

Jusst over install the printer should fix it so you can uninstall it.
After the overinstall, check out the printer as it might work just fine. But once in a while, we have to uninstall, reboot a couple times, then do the install again. Nothing unusual in either case.

Mfg Commands HP C5280 refill problem
Hi, I read the postings about this issue up to Oct 2008, but it doesn't help me so far.
Problem: I refilled my black cartridge and get 'Mfg Commands: Enter Special Key Combo', on the display of the printer (HP Photosmart C5280). HP refuses to help me and doesn't return my requests for help, because I use refill cartridges.
Who can tell me how to get my printer going again with refill cartridges... I cannot afford the expensive new cartridges. Thanks,
Paul (Belgium)

Rodney pay attention to post dates. Andrea hasn't been back since Oct 26, 2008. And if you had read, she has uninstalled the printer until she was going to get another cartridge, I'm sure she's done that by now.

resetting the chip of an HP 940 cartridge.

Could you please help me on this?
Thank you and GOD bless

It's quite possible that your printer is newer and reason why it's not a list that was made 3 years ago. Plus Eman hasn't posted here since October 22, 2008, again three years ago.
Something I found in a google search:

Perhaps also might help:
