Hmmmm...I can't really think how else Cydoor could have got into your puter, other than it being 'bundled' with another program.
You will find that AdAware won't pick up all spyware references - especially if the spyware is a little sneaky and works around programs like AdAware...As you have found, you need to do a manual search in the Registry to truly get rid of the instances.
I'm afraid I can't help much more than this. The links I have saved in my Fav's to do with Spyware have already been mentioned here.
BTW, AdAware 5.1 is now out and replaces Version 5 which came out a few days ago. Try running that and see if it picks up anymore...BUT, I doubt it since 5.1 was introduced to correct another 'bug'.
