[XP] Issue With QuickBooks
I can get into my Quickbooks Pro 2001 (Windows XP) and enter info into checks, but when I enter "File/Print Forms/Checks", my computer hangs up - top bar goes dim. I have to press "Escape" to bring screen back to normal.
This also happens when I get to the point of "Modifying Reports". I can pull up a report, select a date range, but I cannot modify.
Please help!

How long has it been since this started happening? Hard to tell from your description if it's a QB issue or a Windows problem. Is QB the only program acting up? If it turns out it's QB, it may be tough to get much help from Intuit because they wiould no longer support a version that old.
However, if it's Windows (IOW, more going wrong than just QB), you could try to use Windows System Restore to go back to when it was working and see if that solves it.
