[RESOLVED] I need a favor please.
Hi all,
I need to ask a big favor.
I own a website named Missing Pet Center. One of the features of the site is that you can enter the pet’s name and information, and add a picture, and then post the information. Because I am not good enough at programming forms that allow attachments, I use a service named Formnut to handle the form part of my site. However, over the last three days, I have received several emails from customers stating that they cannot “send” their forms. When the do send forms, they receive the Windows Error message 406. I own a virgin backup of my site, so I re-uploaded it to ensure that some manner of corruption had not occurred, and still the same results.
Can some of you please go to my site and attempt to send a “Pet Form” to me? I need to know if there is a browser problem, or possibly a problem with Formnut.
Please go to” www.missingpetcenter.com and navigate to “Post my ad”.
Just fill in any bogus information that you want, and attempt to send it. PLEASE let me know what happens.
Thanks guys,
George

Thanks for your feedback guys,
Well, this sucks! Even when I attempt to send a “trouble-ticket” to Formnut, I receive the same “Error 406” message. I guess that means that there IS a problem with Formnut, but if I can’t tell them about the problem, what do I do??? They don't even OFFER a telephone number!

Thanks Doc,
I found the same information prior to you post. I sent three letters to them, and not one single response. I guess it IS time for a new form handler.
I wish I was a better programmer! I can create forms, but forms WITH attachments are out of my league.

Hey folks,
I just found this search while looking up 'Formnut problem'. I too am having a problem with Formnut. My paid form works fine when submitting, and I get the email with the decrypt info, but when I go to the page to decrypt the info I get the 406 error when I submit the info. I too get this error when I try and submit a trouble ticket to Formnut.
If your form is working (it sounds like the OP's is not) I found I can download the csv log file after logging into the Formnut.com main page and at least get my info.
I'm bummed about this. It has been a great service. The one time (a few months ago) I had a question they were very quick to respond. No nothing.
If there is no answer or solution to this by next week then I'll need to change secure form host providers.

Good news,
I received a letter from Formnut today. Klemen was on holiday, his staff could not fix the problem, but Klemen is back! He immediately resolved the issue and all is well. He even offered to refund this month’s payment. As Kaef911 stated, it has been a great service.
