Question About Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007
Hi,
Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007.... how good is it? Where about on the level of basic to full package does it lie as i cant find it on the PC world website or MS website.
Has anyone got Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007.. if so whats it like?
Hope some can advise.

Office 2007 is a bigger change over Office 2003 then Vista is over XP.
HUGE learning curve.
Not sure what you're asking->"Where about on the level of basic to full package does it lie"
As in all other versions of Office - the bigger the package - the more applications are included.
If you have MASTERD Office 2003 and are a hard core office user - going to 2007 is for you.
If you're a basic Office user and already have a different version - I'd keep what you have.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Sorry. what i ment by it was, you get all differnt levels of office from basic to ultimate but where does the enterprise edition come as i cant find it pc websites?
The only reason i ask is that as im NHS Employee i can get Office 2007 Enterprise for £18. And im wondering if its worth getting. Iv still got a really old office and i want to upgrade.

At that price I would be tempted to buy it even if I never used it.
It has several products you may not need but those you can ignore. The real issue, as Steve said, is the learning curve. This site may give you an idea of the differences (the link is to the Word page but if you click on the Products tab at the top of the page you can do the same for the other products):

Office 2007 is a major change in design philosophy. For example, support of standard file types. You may have to learn the changes eventually since they will carry forward to future versions.

Enterprise and Professional Plus are only available through volume licensing (i.e. a 5 purchase minimum), which is why they don't get a mention on most websites.

Unless you use Business Contact Manager for Outlook, Enterprise is actually superior to Ultimate (although you probably don't have Office Communications Server at home, so you can ignore that and then it becomes the same as Ultimate).
