Any freeware Firewalls?
Actually I think I found two. ZA 71... says it's for Vista, but I get an error saying the 'Driver was blocked due to incompatability' with True Vector Service. But, it continued to install as normal. At the same time an error box kept popping up, so I just uninstalled ZA before completing the final setup. So does it work or not?
The other Firewall is Comodo Pro 3.0. It says on it's site that it is free and even goes on to explain as to why they made it free. So I dl'd it, but haven't installed it yet.
So can I go ahead and use ZA? Will it still work anyway? Or should I use Comodo 3.0? This was probably talked about in earlier threads, but wanted to ask someone anyway. Thanks. Appreciate it. KB11

Any ones opinion on ZA or Comodo Pro 3.0? Which is best for Vista? Thanks

I've been using Comodo on my main PC for a number of months. I like it a lot. inobtrusive and just does what it's supposed to. (It's an XPpro OS)
Tried it briefly on Vista which I had for a short while earlier this year and found no major problems but only had them installed together for about a week.
Took a little while to browse through the GUI, which I found less than intuitive, but after a couple of hours I found all the nooks and crannies that the settings were hidden in.
I still use Sunbelt/Kerio on my laptop and backup PC.

Thanks fink. I installed Comodo. Seems to work good so far, but I miss using ZA. Anyway I should be fine.
