Weird Registry entry
I was perusing through the Registry a few minutes ago and happen to notice (what looks like) a suspicious entry. It's under HK_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion....the entry is called FakeDefaultUserProfile. There seems to be nothing on Google about this entry. Does anyone else have this entry in their (Vista) Registry?
If it's malicious, i want to get rid of it. if it's some kind of a naming joke with the M$ programmers, I'd like to know its function.

Thanks....that leads me to suspect it is simply a weird naming convention by Micropuffed. Sounds oddly like a virus or hack dropping.

Hi, only Bistro would find such an obscure entry. No doubt this discovery required hours of selfless effort to allert us to the dangers that lurk within. Microsft must wonder when this mighty crusader for good will relent and release them from his ceaseless gaze. We mere mortals can only hope this crusade for our benefit continues. If the data values are not set then this becomes one of those invalid entries that the Registry ignores, of course this creates a whole new industry for the Reg Cleaners to exploit.
