    Updating Network Adapter

I have downloaded an .exe file I want to use to update drivers for my network adapter. I cannot seem to be able to find instructions on how to do this. Everytime I try to do this a sysinfo report shows I have multiple adapters, even though I've uninstalled both the drivers and the device.

    XP Home SP3
    KIS 2009
    Intel PRO/100VE Network Connection

    Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

What computer do you have? And were are you getting the download? Is there a specific reason you wanted to update the driver?

XP SP3 Home......Download is from Intel.......Reason for update: Not having any problems. Uploaded a sysinfo to Kaspersky site and it noted drivers needed updating. I have a hunch I'm just going to leave this alone. Thanks for response.

As long as it's working, no need to update. You get these types of hype anytime you use a software utility. But the overall consensus is, if it isn't broken, leave it be or, newest isn't always better.
