My hijackthis log file

I've been having some strange things happening to my machine. I thought that I'd taken care of it at one point but I'm still seeing some strange things happening. For example, I can't change my desktop background anymore. The browse button is greyed out and no matter what picture I select it won't change.

There are other things going on too, but I was wondering if someone could check out my log and help me out. The log file is attached. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to the VDr forums .

Two things. You are running the Beta version of hijackthis. Please download the latest version after uninstalling that one.
You are running hijackthis from a temporary folder. When you download the latest version. make certain you run it from it's own folder, or another permanent one.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebyt...are_d5756.html) to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure to checkmark the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

Make sure that you restart the computer.
