Have you tried adding it to trusted sites? I think that site would require scripting as well as ActiveX. Odds are the ActiveX control required is the flash player, which also requires JavaScript be enabled.

    Hello Steve, thanks for that.

Hello Pnyc, yes, tried adding to trusted sites, i get a message saying, Sites added to this zone must use https:// prefix. This prefix assures a secure connection.
Cannot add http://bbplus.photobox.co.uk/album/u..._album=8139505 or just http://bbplus.photobox.co.uk. Because of the above message.

    Thanks, GEP

gep--I hate to tell you but I can see the page. It looks complete so I do not know if I am missing something. It see it in my Internet Zone which uses the default Security settings (Medium High).
Maybe I missed it, but I am not sure what your question/problem is. You say
got a problem with using an Active X
and the problem is that you are not seeing the Information Bar. Once you download whatever ActiveX control is involved, you do not have to download it again.
As far as using previously downloaded ActiveX controls see the last item ("ActiveX blocked due to security settings") on this page

    Re:Active X

Hello WelshJim & all, i have set Internet & Trusted to default.

I am trying to upload Photos to the website by The Active X.
I cannot upload by the other way either.

My page is normal untill i try, i choose the album, add photos, the page starts up, then instead of one select all deselect all upload photos i get two green bars and nothing happens, even having waited.

I have turned off firewall, etc, to no avail.

I can upload photos to Kodak and all other sites, dowload as well, no problems, just the Photobox one??

Anymore ideas, except for loading Firefox.

    Thanks, GEP

    Found this.

Common reasons for uploads failing are as follows:

You tried to send us an file type that we don't support. We only allow JPEG files. If you tried to upload a TIFF, GIF, PNG, bitmap, Word document, PDF or other file type, these will be rejected.
Your file was too large. If you have an image that is more than 12,000 pixels on the longest side, our servers will reject it. That is bigger than you need for any of our print sizes.
Your image might be corrupt or damaged in some way.

On page 2 of this link.

Hello Train & all, thanks for your replies.

I did the FTP Upload, took 2 hours, but, at least they all got there.

Hopefully i can find the problem with the Active X, why it's only not working on this website and it's O.K. on all others.

    Thanks again, GEP
