Is there anybody there????????
Don't know why but this place seems to be slowly dying, hope it picks up soon.
Qualifications:
I have read:
Windows 3.11 for Dummies
Windows 95 for Dummies (Second Chapter)
Fed up with UK 0870 Phone Numbers
Backup Boogaloo, you know it makes sense to do.

Go break something
Since you joined the site in 2001, there have been at least 187,253 new tech sites started.....That number is made up, but you get the idea...
Support from software/hardware companies have drastically improved in the past several years...
Google - the household word, can solve many problems...
Winter is over in the Northern hemisphere and people are getting outside more..
Lets see, what else can I make up
I post on a total of eight sites every day and the amount of traffic goes up n down all the time.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

There doesn't seem to be the need for advice as much as there were back in the Win 98 days. People are becoming more tech savvy when it comes to malware also.
The true test of character is not how much we
know how to do, but how we behave when we don't know what to do

This place only seems to be going down though.
Perhaps it's not as welcoming as it once was.

Actually the daily page views have shown a small but steady increase since the main page was redesigned.

I think its doing OK....
One IT site im on i cant believe how many NEW MEMBERS reply to 4,5 yr old threads with the same issues they are having...... It amazes me,they must find the threads on google and instead of starting a new thread, they reply to a 4yo thread.. (Which is OK but they might get a better response starting thier own.) I have seen that happen a little bit here and a little on CTH but nothing like the other site...

Our stats will be considerably more accurate. I, for one, block their cookies. I'm sure I'm not alone. Our stats are not cookie dependent.

JPnyc--I agree. People who allow alexa on their PC's would probably not be savvy enough to want to visit here.

Kind words indeed, Drs. Orders. But we all make up the forum, every one of us who posts here
