    Spybot

On two of my machines when running SSandDestroy it nearly completes and then this message pops up:
Warning There were problems in the C:\Program Files\Spybot-Search Destroy\includes\TrojansC.sbi Are others of you seeing this on your machines? As usual, TI
EDIT: Both machines are running just fine.

Could be corruption in the Spybot dat files. Wait until the next updates and see if it fixes the problem.

Thanks fink. That is what I am doing--waiting--cause I didn't know what else to do. I couldn't see value in deleting my present app. and installing another.
Another thing. I have noticed that most times that I run AdAware and let it do it's thing and removing anything found and then I run SSandD, it seldom finds anything. Odd that that happens but I wonder if the two don't search for the same baddies.

There's always lots of overlap in different spyware programs but it's the few percent that only one or the other (or the other..etc) will find that's the reason to use more than one program.

buf, Are you using the latest version of Spybot S&D which is 1.5.2 Check out the links below. It appears to be a problem with the older version.

Thanks to all who answered my call for help. Updating to latest version--1.5.2-- did the trick Tufenuf. While I have only found the time thus far to update just one machine, I feel the other machine will give the same answer when I install the newer version over the top and without removing any of the files/folders that were suggested. OH, the answer after running a scan was the "Congratulations" at the end. I did do a System Restore before installing the newer version "just in case".
