    Intel Heatsink/fans

    Hi all

Anyone know any sites where it lists what retail Intel HSF's are supplied with what CPU's. Had a good look and I can't find a list.

I have a DTC AAL03 which came with a Q6600 and I'm pretty certain it can be fitted to most others, but it would be nice to have a place to check what can go with what.

I'm only interested in Intel stock fans, as most of the other makes state with what CPU they can be fitted.

    any input appreciated, thanks.

It came with a Core 2 Quad Q6600, it was a retail box and was put together with another HSF.

I like to keep spares so I'd like to know for sure what goes with what.

Shows that there are three types of HSF, but it doesn't mention model numbers.

I'd appreciate it if anyone is building a machine at the moment or taking the side off, if they would post the model numbers of their CPU's and HSF. If a few people done that it would build up a list, which may help others also.

I have just realised that I was using the wrong number from the HSF, the actual part number is D60188-001, I have been able to find a lot more info now. I worry about myself sometimes
