[RESOLVED] [mce]
Start > Search > type .avi > Click search
Results appear
Double click on a file, nothing happens.
Right click on one and say Open Containing Folder, then double click on .avi file and it opens in WMP no problem.
Navigate to an .avi file through Windows Explorer and double click on it and it opens in WMP no problem.
Not a big deal but a weird XP thing.

The usual problem with avi files is that they crash Explorer. You seem to be back to front here
