    Erunt and Vista

Hi, there is another thread about this program and XP I do not wish to hijack it so I have started this thread. In Vista from my experience erunt will not automate backups from start. The option is there during install, if I select it then reboot Vista (ultimate 32) comes up with unable to create and essentially access denied. So no auto backup. I note that the readme file mentions only XP yet the download says Vista, there is no mention of Vista in the readme and it is dated 2005. Broni says he has it running in Vista. I wonder if some registry mods I have made effect this, maybe they are the reason. I suspect UAC however turning it off, granting permissions and running as the true vista admin makes no difference. Can anyone with Vista give this a go and let me know what happens, Thanks

Find the shortcut, should be in the start up folder.
    R-click and select properties.
On the shortcut tab, click the advanced Button

Put a check in Run as Administrator.

Or the same Block in the Compatibly tab.

Go through this thread: http://discussions.virtualdr.com/sho...ighlight=erunt one more time.
It worked for me in Vista from the getgo, and I posted some screenshots there.
First thing to check is, if you have a shortcut in your startup folder:

Hi, thanks for your responses. I have decided to give up on Erunt ... all suggestions tried and many more, failed, and on many different vista machines.
