HP printer software freezing computer.
Have an HP printer connected through the network with ethernet, if I boot the computer with the printer on and connected the computer becomes unresponsive and very very slow. I found that the culprit is hpqtra08.exe, takes 100 percent of the CPU and the computer is extremely slow and unresponsive. I have fully uninstalled all HP software and have reinstalled it and still the same issue. I have been able to remedy this ending task on this process and deleting it. I tested scanning with HP software and that still works so I'm just wondering what does hpqtra08.exe really do? I think I'll be fine without it, but can someone tell me what it does so I know if I won't need it for anything?

It looks like that is a common problem:

Have you checked the HP site to see if there are any updated drivers?
