Wild Tangent game dependencys.
Why when I try to uninstall Wild Tangent from a computer it says that certain game depend on Wild Tangent? Then it won't install unless you put checks into certain games.
Why does it say that? Is WT really running these games? Are these games really depend on WT?
What is with this WT? Is just advertisements that get thrown into these games when played or what?
Note: My questions may be to help others
Thanks, JB

Between proprietary games and the service contracts it holds for manufacturers, WildTangent is all over the place, but I'm not crazy about the way they do business. Neither are a lot of other people. They use a plug-in bundle to manage their games. WildTangent claims that its online plug-in gaming bundle is safe, but many antispyware programs classify it as adware/spyware, mainly because it reports activity and games played to WildTangent servers, such as number of times played, length of time played and machine specifications, such as OS version, processor speed, RAM, and DirectX version in order to more finely tune games and services to casual gamers. WildTangent is preinstalled on Toshiba, Dell, Gateway, Compaq, and HP computers. Any company mining that much data from casual users is suspect IMHO. Some people like their games; others don't even notice when they're uninstalled.

So taking off the Wild Tangent will not render the games it manages a dead game then huh?
I see the games are still there even though I destroyed WTangent.

Can't rightly say, never left WildTangent ANYTHING on any computer if I could help it. I suspect they'd run without the plug-in bundle, if said bundle is only for "communications."

Removing WildTangent won't affect your games.
