Java runtime Kubuntu or any linux for that matter.
I have a client who doesn't have a windows disk. A "friend" of hers installed it. Anyway the install is corrupt and I want to introduce her to Linux since she can't afford the $110.00US for XP Home. She plays games mostly on pogo.com which require Java. I ran the Kubuntu live cd here to test it and all seems well except getting Java installed. Does anyone have an easy walk through for this. FYI I'm not too versed on Linux so anything too technical may cause me to drool and pass out.

so far i'm very impressed by ubuntu. it found both of my printers and they work. it mounts my windows drive just fine and i can open my openoffice.org documents. I recommend it.
