With Windows updates, try to change Comodo status, temporarily.
Right click on its icon, then "Defense+Security level", and disable it.
    When you're done, re-enable.

    Definitely, run CCleaner.

    I have run CCleaner.

Comodo seems to be improving as it learns. It is a bit annoying at times though, but for the added protection it should be worth it.

There are still things that seem to load a bit slow. However, I have added another 512 MB of RAM to the 256 MB originally installed - this has made some big improvements.

One area that I still notice taking a bit of time to load is IE. It seems to stall on the Google toolbar and the Windows Live toolbar before it finally loads for use. I suppose at this point it will just have to be something to live with unless someone has an answer for resolving or improving this slow down at this point???

Windows Security is stating there is no firewall installed and no anti-virus installed. However, that is not true. The firewall is Comodo and anti-virus is AVG. Is there a way to correct this without turning off this check by stating it will be monitored by the user? Maybe that is the only way around this at this time, but I thought I would check.

    Thanks,
    Jody

    Excellent move.

At least Google toolbar causes some issues with some people once in a while.
If you can live without it, I'd disable it.
You don't want to try Firefox, do you?
Windows Security is stating there is no firewall installed and no anti-virus installed.
